Frequently asked questions: Letterbox consoles and intercom posts
Did not find your answer? Call us or send an enquiry – we reply within 1 working day.
Can you fit my existing intercom?+
Yes — send us the model and we'll make the post to its dimensions.
How much does a letterbox console cost?+
From ~€550 depending on the configuration and finish.
What can be built into a mail console?+
A letterbox, a lockable parcel box, the house number (cut-out or LED-lit), an intercom or video intercom panel, a bell button, a camera and lighting. Cables must be brought to the console location before installation.
Can the console be fitted to an existing fence?+
Yes – we fix it to a solid post, build it into a fence panel or install it separately on a small foundation. Colour and pattern are matched to the existing fence by RAL code or photo.
Will the console rust and do parcels get wet?+
The post is sandblasted and powder-coated inside and out, the openings have a hood and folded edges, the door has a seal and the bottom has drainage gaps. Parcels stay dry even in rain.
On which side of the gate should the console go?+
Next to the wicket on the street side, so the courier and postman can reach it without entering the yard, and not on the side where the sliding gate retracts. The collection door opens towards the yard.
